Amerin idell
Amerin (she, her, hers) is a marketing and communications professional with a passion toward creating a more inclusive community where diverse voices are represented.
After a year as a Fulbright scholar, Amerin was inspired to join the Courage MKE board after working directly with high school students in Hanover, Germany. During her time as a teacher, Amerin witnessed the support youth at that pivotal age need - starting with the very basics of a stable home where one can express their identity.
Now returned to her hometown, Amerin is continuing her support of LGBTQ+ causes and is excited to help Courage MKE continue driving positive change for the next generation.
Amerin lives in Milwaukee with her fiance, David and rescue Chow Chow, Kahlo. In her free time, she enjoys painting, binge watching Top Chef, spending time outdoors and striving toward her lifetime goal of traveling to all seven continents.
