Ariel (they/she) studied Family Science, Education, Sociology, and Spanish at the University of Nebraska before moving to Milwaukee in 2017. In their free time they like to rock climb, kayak, rollerskate, dance, or just curl up with a book and some tea. Additionally they are a community organizer with Bend The Arc (a Jewish movement dedicated to building a more just society), a youth group advisor, and a vocalist working with local musicians. They joined Courage House in July 2020, and their favorite part of the job is getting to experience real life - and real joy - alongside the residents.
